A little wooden book

Here is my little project from yesterday, never got round to blogging again last night, I was just too tired and had an early night! It is an altered baby book, from thisI turned the pages into this! I made some extra pages from some modern scrapbook papers with a vintage feel, Cosmo cricket in this case and rethreaded the wooden covers with some extra pages made from a vintage map too. It is about 4 inches square. The binder used the same beads, but threaded some toning ribbon instead of elastic. The front is decorated with a slide mount punched from a vintage playing card and some chatterbox alpha's with the word look! The felt flower and paper flower trimmed with a button centre and glued in place with silicone. I sanded the edges and then inked them with a chalk eye ink pad. A new life for this wooden baby book!! You could use it for anything. Photo's of a prom or recent family event, anything you like really! TFLx
