Another layout featuring heritage photos of mum and dad on dad's motorbike in the fifties. I love the way that he stopped to smoke his pipe! No crash helmets of course in those days! I used a sheet of paper from Basic Grey with this lovely seed head pattern on, to reflect the countryside photos and then I added a strip of blackboard paper to look like a road with a dotted line down the centre. The Heidi Swapp acetate butterfly and crown fro my dad (king of the road!) add subtle texture and lift the layout into 3D. The little edge strips from some Sassafrass papers just add a feminine touch around mums photo, along with the Prima flower made from a map and the butterfly hand cut from some baking paper. used my corner rounding punch too for a change.
Got lots to do today including cutting out and making a shirt for DS2 for the dance show next weekend, just never got around to it yesterday. Housework needs tackling and friends coming over for tea!
Managed to blow up the toaster yesterday, albeit it was about 15 years old, our run off bad luck with appliances continues!!! So far that's the tumble dryer, the freezer, the cooker and now the toaster! It never rains, but it pours! Better get cracking before hubby puts the hoover in meltdown! My shoulder is bad again today, off back to Osteopath tomorrow, so we are tackling the housework together!! Wish i could be papercrafting :(

Love this LO CC- great photos from the 50's and I like the little "extras" that add depth and dimension.
