Pink Paislee have some fabulous pleated ribbon trim in their new lines here. This is how easy it is to stitch pleated fabric using a sewing machine, you could also do it with ribbon. TFlx
A fabulous demo :) ... I so love ruffled ribbon on my layouts and I'll have to have a go at using material strips - I normally only use ribbon and ruffle it like you do, but I never thought about dipping into all my fabric stash :)
