For 55 Years....

(last December) Mum and Dad have been married. A layout for a challenge over on the SC blog, to use fabric. I used one of my handmade pleated fabric ruffles from this tutorial here, to edge the MM envelope flap. I made my embellishments for the 55, by hand using punches and foam pads to give them depth.
Various sizes of Woodware circle punches and a flower punch. Each layer edges with an ink pad for definition. The title cards are from a vintage set of Kan-u-go cards from a charity shop. The 'Ensemble' is stamped from a set I bought in Paris using Jenni Bowlin inks in Brown Sugar and also Malted Milk. I stamped a doily lace stamp in Malted milk on the background card stock here and there to give a watermark effect by using tone on tone.
