Christmas Countdown Project 17 - Magnetic bulletin board

Sorry this is a late post! Busy, busy day!!!

I have made two of these, one with a kitchen theme and one with a general theme.
You will need:
A metal display board to alter
Various backing papers of your choice
Maya Mist
PVA glue & foam spreader
Chipboard embellishments
Magnetic tape of old fridge magnets
Silicone glue
Cropadile Big Bit and two large eyelets
Buttons or lace to embellish if required.
1. Take your metal display sign and coat it all over with PVA using a foam spreader. Tear up various papers and apply to the surface, trying not to overlap the papers too much. Paste the PVA glue over the top when finished as an extra coating. Dry with a hairdryer.

When dry add a spritz or two of Maya Mist of Studio Calico Mister Huey with a mask if you wish. Leave to dry.
2. Punch two holes with the Cropadile and set two large eyelets, one in each of the top corners.
Tie a length of ribbon to hang it up.
3. For the magnets, cut some magnetic tape into squares and stick to the back of the chipboard shapes with silicone glue. Leave to dry.

Another great gift idea that does not cost too much if you source your metal background from a cheap shop!
Join me tomorrow for another crafting project. TFLx
