I designed this silhouette studio Union Jack file, to cut out in three colours of card on my Cameo.
I did this on my old Craft Robo that was A4 size, so you need to cut it out on a sheet of printer paper first to see where to arrange the different coloure card stock pieces. The background piece needs to be white the lower small triangles need to be covered by blue card and the right hand strips need red card for cutting.
Once you have run it through the Silhouette and cut out the coloured pieces, you can assemble your Union Jack.
To make a Union jack embossing folder, cut out three or four of these and layer them up using adhesive, you can use any colour of cardstock, so use up those left over colours!!
Once you have your flag for embossing onto other pieces of paper or card, for a subtle effect, you can run it through your normal die cutting machine with a tan embossing mat and whatever plates you need for your make of machine. I used a Cuttlebug. To get a deeper impression, spray the card to be embossed with a fine mist of water and add some extra card stock shims until you get your required result. DON'T OVER DO IT WITH SHIMS OR YOU COULD BREAK YOUR MACHINE!
